Atomic structure

Wow! sometimes i think i am getting this stuff then it seems like im lost in the terminology! weel this article really helped ! the step by step breakdown of protons and electrons was extremely helpfull even the more complex atomic number seems obtainable to me nthanks for the great sites larry!

Ozone

seems like everyone has their own idea of what the ozone layer means to them. most people say its got holes but they are unsure where the holes are and how big they might be. the scary part is that no one seem to know how big the gaps in the Ozone layer are! some people actually think we breathe Ozone and its Oxygen!! The fact is that most ozone we think of is Stratospheric Ozone in the upper atmosphere and acts as a shield from radiation and ultraviolet rays. thank god we discontinued CFCs from refrigerants and Aerosol sprays that severly depleted our Ozone protective shield.

chemistry week one class

I was worried about the first day of chemisrty class i knew the material would be new or difficult to understand . Thankfully Larrys taeching style relaxes the most anxious students including me! i was able to grasp most of the introductory idaes and am looking forwrd to the semester ahead. the quiz was informative and kinda fun also Cheers!
